15w31b was released to fix some bugs and crashes from 15w31a, including an important one regarding books and signs.

Commands

• /clear now clears the offhand slot.

Status effects

• Levitation:
  • Can no longer induce people from being kicked from servers.
• Glowing:
  • The details on item models are now highlighted completely while held, instead of being just a box.
  • Worn armor and held items will get highlighted with the corresponding team color, instead of overriding them.

Splash water bottles

• Can be used to put out fires, temporarily creating a little water puddle
