  • Jugadores conduciendo vagones o botes en largas distancias ya reciben actualizaciones de terrenos en SMP.

Nuevos Errores:

  • Modo Un Jugador esta completamente roto.
  • Decaimiento de hojas causa , causing the game to freeze.
  • Monstruos en multijugador son más dificiles de matar que en un jugador.
  • Monstruos son invisibles y por lo tanto invencibles, y todavía pueden atacar otros jugadores.
  • Cuando un jugador muere, su nuevo cuerpo regenerado es invisible a otros jugadores. Estos jugadores "fantasma" no pueden recoger , pero pueden interactuar con el mundo normalmente desde su perspectiva. New Bugs:

  • Riding a Minecart in the Nether will cause a Graphical bug and you cant exit. However reloading the world will cause you to fall in lava.
  • In SMP, Boats and Minecarts are indestructible without the use of TNT.
  • In SMP, hitting sheep will drop cloth, but it can't be picked up. However, casting with a fishing rod will knock obtainable cloth, but the sheep will still appear woolen.
  • Getting out of a boat in SMP is difficult and buggy
  • Pressing F4 will spawn Nether Portals (later fixed)

  • On rare occasions, an item will not appear in the inventory when picked up and no more of this item will show up in the inventory. This can be fixed by closing the client.

    • The server can now be started in either online/secure mode or offline/insecure mode. A secure server requires all connecting players to first authenticate on www.minecraft.net, then checks that the authentication matches, before letting the player in. A server running in offline mode won’t do any such checks, nor will it ask the client to authenticate, but you can’t be sure that people who connect really are who they claim they are. Offline mode is meant for LAN plan where you know the people connecting to the server.
    • Added ban/pardon commands to ban and unban a player from the game
    • Added ban-ip/pardon-ip commands to ban and unban a specific ip (you have to kick the player manually)
    • Added op/deop commands to add/remove a player from the op list
    • Added player ops. They can send server commands by typing a slash followed by a server command. Server ops can also build/destroy blocks near the spawn area.
    • Made the server save terrain more frequently

  • Destroying snow blocks yields 4-6 Snowballs, allowing for infinite amounts of snow as blocks only take 4 snowballs to make
  • Cacti blocks generate in winter maps.

  • Snow is counted as a full block, therefore:
    • If you walk on snow, you will hear sound of the block under it unless you jump
    • Placing a block on snow will place it above the snow, floating in the air
    • When looking at ice underwater, the texture flickers

  • Riding a pig on ice will make the pig you are riding move at ridiculous speeds
